Defender Riot Lead - Modern Icon

DESCRIPTION

The Defender Riot Lead is made using 2 layers of durable mil-spec webbing to create a strong, tactical dog leash for Military (MWD), Police ( LEO), Personal Protection, and Schutzhund (IPO) Working Dogs. The heavy-duty K9 leash includes a close-control handle to help keep the dog at your side, but can be neatly tucked out of the way using an integrated elastic loop when not in use.

STAINLESS SWIVEL SNAP

Our custom standard swivel snap is black coated stainless steel. The round slot design allows for an additional 180 degrees of movement—this means the lead can articulate on a double axis to further reduce tangles or accidental un-clippings.

UPGRADE: KONG FROG WITH SWIVEL

This climbing rated hardware uses a redundant release mechanism, meaning both release tabs have to be depressed simultaneously to open—this prevents accidental unclipping of the lead. An in-line swivel is added to help prevent tangles.

1.5" CLIP-IN POINT

This Daisy Chain style clip-in point allows for a standard climbing carabiner to be used as a secondary clip-in option.

UPGRADE: ADDITIONAL CLIP-IN POINTS

Additional clip in points are sewn into the lead (approximately every 1ft). These clip-in points accommodate a standard climbing carabiner and can be used to shorten the lead, clip in accessories, clip the lead back to itself, or a variety of other uses.

UPGRADE: ADD RING

A 1" free-floating, black coated stainless steel, ring can be added to the handle. The ring can be used to attach a carabiner or our TDL shackle, it can be used to clip in another lead (for additional length), or it can be used to clip in the snap.

CLOSE CONTROL HANDLE

An extra handle lets you keep your partner close when working. An integrated elastic loop keeps the handle neatly tucked out of the way when not in use.
