The Tactical Deployment Lead (TDL) is a quick-release, tactical dog leash designed for Military (MWD) and Police (LEO) Working Dogs. A heavy duty, black coated stainless steel, Quick Release Snap Shackle securely attaches to the handler and allows the dog to be rapidly deployed with one hand, even when the tether is under tension. The bungee-free tether keeps the dog from receiving unintentional feedback and allows the handler to provide hands-free corrections when necessary.
STAINLESS SWIVEL SNAP
Our custom standard swivel snap is black coated stainless steel. The round slot design allows for an additional 180 degrees of movement—this means the lead can articulate on a double axis to further reduce tangles or accidental un-clippings.
This climbing rated hardware uses a redundant release mechanism, meaning both release tabs have to be depressed simultaneously to open—this prevents accidental unclipping of the lead. An in-line swivel is added to help prevent tangles.
1.5" CLIP-IN POINT
This Daisy Chain style clip-in point allows for a standard climbing carabiner to be used as a secondary clip-in option.
HEAVY GAUGE STAINLESS O-RING
The TDL tether features a black coated stainless steel ring used to clip in the TDL Shackle. The ring can also be used to clip in a carabiner or can be used to clip in another lead (for additional length).
HITCH ATTACHMENT
The snap shackle is attached using a girth-hitch loop, so it can be added or removed easily to a belt or vest without having to reconfigure your equipment.
SHACKLE RELEASE TAB
The strength rated Shackle has a 4" woven paracord pull tab that won't get caught on your gear or surrounding environment. The shackle is designed to be released even under load.
